Founded in 1986 by Tom McFadden, Rid-a-Pest originated when Tom relocated to Fayetteville, Arkansas, to embark on a career in the pest control industry. Motivated by his unwavering commitment to excellence, Tom was determined to enhance the industry’s reputation to align with his own high standards. He prioritized neatness, cleanliness, and organization, instilling these values within his team. Tom insisted on pressed uniforms, impeccably maintained trucks, and a professional image upheld by the Rid-a-Pest staff, both in their interactions with customers and the public.

Although Tom’s passing in 2012 marked a significant loss, his legacy lives on. Presently, Tim and Lisa Ware, the current owners, carry on the business with utmost integrity and a steadfast pursuit of excellence. Their mission is simple yet impactful—to further elevate the pest control industry through their operations.
